Fermentation; creating novel food and drug sources

Consumers' values are changing toward plant-based and animal-free foods. Earth's natural resources to feed human and animal populations are limited, and we need to find better and more efficient ways to produce food; more affordable and accessible.  Our core technology is fermentation, which is the cultivation of micro-organisms that form new efficient farming to make a particular compound or biomaterial, primarily proteins with specific properties, vitamins, or Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) omega-3 fatty acid vital for brain growth during pregnancy and infancy.  It is essential to know we are not following genetic modification (GM) processing. We find natural products and use technologies to increase the efficiency of the production cycle and rates. We use an extremely delicate organism with remarkable resiliency and capability in the environment, preparing required natural resources and developing technology as a production vehicle.
