We cultivate native Lion’s Mane mushrooms. The Hericium genus includes several species of edible and medicinal mushrooms, among which the most well-known are Hericium erinaceus, commonly known as the lion's mane mushroom and Hericium Novae Zealandiae. Both species contain bioactive compounds, such as polysaccharides and erinacines, that have been studied for their potential health benefits. On our farm, we grow mushrooms using deep nutritional rich bore water, natural wood and soybean hulls. There are no other chemicals or additives to the growing substrates of our mushrooms. We do not use any chemicals during substrate preparation and growing stages.

Meal options: It has a mild flavour and earthy aroma; like most mushrooms, the Lion's mane mushroom go well when chopped up and added to a stir-fry. They go well with fish, lamb, pork, and vegetarian dishes.
